Gunning mix is made from magnesia and MgO-Ca based materials, mixed by sintering agent. It can be applied into the gunning maintenances and extending operation life of converters and electric furnace lining with high cohesional strength, strong erosion resistance. And it is not easy to fall off. Better hot gunning result will be shown when the hot patching temperature is higher than 1000℃ as the adhesion rate can be greater than 85% at this time.
